Sake Event
Back in April 2010, The Noble Rot endeavored to offer an event covering a lovely drink we had almost no knowledge of … Sake. Thanks to our friend, Monica Samuels at Southern (who would likely be a MS of Sake, if there was such a thing), we tasted through a full range of this mysterious rice wine … including aged ones. Launch event at The Natural Wine Company
In the Fall of 2010, The Noble Rot coordinated a launch event for marketing client, The Natural Wine Company, a new store opening up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Bringing together consumers, press, and the wine industry for this event, guests were treated to wine from some of the best natural wine producers, as well as food from two underground supperclubs, including The Whisk & Ladle, and A Razor, A Shiny Knife.
New Year’s Eve
Aiming to give the good people of NYC something different for New Year’s, The Noble Rot curated an evening of wine and bubbles called “Wine(ding) down 2010″. Taking over the entire winery space in Williamsburg, guests enjoyed three different experiential rooms, including a jazz-age bar with cuisine from A Razor, A Shiny Knife; a low-key parlor featuring International wines; and an all-bubbly filled DJ-dance space in the winery’s production room. A great time was had by all.
Brooklyn Winery Blending Session
The Noble Rot hosts regular Bordeaux blending sessions at the Brooklyn Winery, giving guests an insight into how real winemakers blend wine and how different varietals impart unique characteristics
